Skaggs Springs - Geysers Road ride

Our approach to Stewart Point - Skaggs Springs road was a long and rather
chilly one: from Franz's place in San Jose to SF, over the Golden Gate and
along Highway 1, which was coated in a thick morning fog layer, over
Bodega Bay up to Stewart's Point.

Skaggs was so much sweeping fun that we didn't want to do even a picture
stop along the way. So here's Lake Sonoma, from the Vista Point at the end
of Skaggs Springs road.

Franz and Jurgen (aka Mr hot pants) contemplating life overlooking Lake Sonoma.
Do you notice as well what a beauty Geysers road is? Initially a bit of a
bumpy ride but getting better and better.
Our vehicles parked along Geysers road.
Here comes the true crux of our ride: Franz Valley road!!!
Stop for Franz and his road when you ever come here...
Franz Valley road brings you to West Springs road and then 101.
From there on, we droned home over 580, 80 and 880.
Total mileage today was about 360 miles.
