The Downieville Downhill -

After a nice BBQ on the mtbsh campsite (featuring a.o. tiger prawns), some beers, some wine, some whisky and some sleep, it was time to wake up and catch the shuttle in Downieville. Markus spent the night in bivouac-style, Thierry and me had tents, Inge and Thomas the Downieville Shangri-La resort!

Thomas zooming by at the final section of Butcher Ranch, just before the bridge. This stretch of singletrack is steep, rocky, narrow, treacherous, winding... a piece of pure poetry!
