Tour of California
At last, the Tour of California!
Too bad 'Tornado' Tom Boonen won't be here to win all the sprints, but some big names are attending (Gilberto Simoni, Paolo 'il Falcone' Salvodelli, most of the good Americans...). I'll be checking the route map regularly (which includes Google maplets), and it seems that Tuesday is the best day to get some action (finish line in downtown San Jose). Today and Wednesday are time trials, which are interesting but not exactly spectacular. Though I wouldn't mind going up to the city this morning to get some prologue action (not sure if I can still make it in time...) - btw, the official site seems to be on top of things: here's a kmz (Google Earth) file of the prologue.
