Vultures everywhere

Commuting to work this morning I noticed television trucks camping near the HP headquarters, which are on my way; usually a sign of impending doom, and indeed: what was expected last week has now been confirmed. Layoffs at HP are still a big deal here, as the company remains one of the Valley's sentimental sweethearts (though to a much diminishing extent during the past couple of years).
